About Me
I used to get onstage to move an audience. Now I make things that do it.
Before I was thinking about grids, typography, and moving headlines one pixel to the right, I was learning how to tell stories through theatre and dance. I learned about rhythm, timing, tension, collaboration, and the magic of making someone feel something without having to explain why.Turns out, those lessons translate pretty well to design.Today, I'm an agency-trained graphic designer, where I turn ideas into visual experiences across campaigns and brands. I love the challenge of taking a big, messy idea and finding the thread that makes it click. The kind of work that doesn't just look good in a presentation, but actually means something to the people on the other side of it.My background taught me how to read a room. Agency life taught me how to bring the room along.
I believe good creative work, much like dance, comes from curiosity, collaboration, and being willing to try the thing that might not work. (Preferably before the deadline, but I'm a realist.)At the heart of it, I'm interested in what makes people stop, look, feel, think, and remember. Because an idea can be clever, a design can be beautiful, and a campaign can be perfectly executed. But when all three come together to move an audience?
Oh yeah, that's the good stuff. It's all about visuals that move an audience. And if you ever need someone to choreograph a creative brainstorm, I at least know how to count to eight.
In case my portfolio doesn't make it obvious, I'm a people person, too. I'm the Membership Chair at Ad 2 San Antonio, helping bring the city's next generation of creative minds together. Consider this my professional excuse for being a social butterfly.
